Appearance
Aerlia is a petite grey skinned Xaela. She bares jet black scales, a thick tail, and two pairs of horns atop her head. Her hair is a pure white and her eyes are light purple.
Upon being awakon from a long coma-like state, she found herself wearing a basic black, sleevless bodysuit with electric blue accents. She wore nothing on her head, hands or feet.
She later came across a set of abandoned Ironworks Gear in a nearby building. She would wear this as she explored the world beyond Azys Lla.
Sometime after discovering the Heretics near Falcon's Nest, she joined their cause and recieved a black chiton.
Much later, after being deported to Eorzea she is outfitted in a black and brown top that was given to her, brown leggings, and black shoes.
Background
Born in an unknown time, not much is known about her early life. She awoke in the bottom of a glass pod at an abandoned facility in Azys Lla. She was wearing only a sleeveless bodysuit. Her mind was blank and she felt groggy. Unable to recall where she was, she wandered out of the facility, aimlessly searching for another living being, the friendly sort. After a long time, she entered the Delta Quadrant. There she found a bound Tiamat, a great wyrm born of Midgardsormr. Tiamat, surprised, beckond Aerlia to explain her coming. Having no recollection of the events that had taken place, Tiamat spoke of the land beyond the floating islands they stood upon. She bid the tiny au ra travel across the skys to Dravania, in search of her brood brothers: Hraesvelgr or Nidhogg. There she stated they could explain more about the current state of the world. Tiamat pointed out a box of gear left behind by past exploration parties. She took a set of Ironworks Gear, presumably left by Cid Garlend at some point in time. Aerlia was able to tinker with an allagan node which teleported her to a random location in Coerthas Western Highlands.
Confused yet again, she came across the Camp Riversmeet, which had long been destroyed. A band of Heretics had been camping close by. Being naive and alone, she stayed with them for some time. Over the course of a few months she became brainwashed into believing their ideals and obsessed with the false information they provided. They stated she was the in-between of someone who had taken in dragon's blood. With no reason to disagree, she took this at face value. The guidence of Tiammat became mudedled abd skewed by the brainwashing.
As the Heretics were not exactly welcomed by the Ishgardian peoples, they were constantly running from the forces around the area. At somepoint they were captured and taken for judgement in Ishgard. Looking completely different from the rest of the Heretics, she was seperated and interigated. After being identified as being brainwashed, they did all they could to extract information from her. In return she was freed from custody and deported to Camp Dragonhead. The people of this encampment were much kinder to her and eventually helped her travel to the city-state of Gridania. Leaving her with money and clothes to help her set off, she stayed in the city for some time.
Currently she has found her way to The Welcome Inn and offered free board. Having finally recalled her initial goal, she decides to seek aid in helping her on her search.
